The last Publication which completes the Worldplaces Tools for Organisations series
In the context of the “Worldplaces-Workplaces Working with Migrant Women” project, the Informative Tool “Formal Childcare in Greece” was developed and is now available in digital form, to support capacity building initiatives of organisations that aim at including women of migrant background in their work environment.
Information on access to childcare for women job candidates or employees is crucial to ensure their equitable participation in the labour market, job retention and a successful career path. It is even more vital in light of women of migrant background as the majority has a reduced support network, or are single mothers, or could even miss essential information on childcare access due to less developed language or digital skills.
The specific Informative Tool includes updated information, written in a simple way, on choices existing for formal childcare for women residing in broader Athens, and relevant registration and criteria information to support organisations provide this necessary piece of information to their women employees of migrant background.
The “Worldplaces-Workplaces Working with Migrant Women” is a project implemented by the Employability Service of Generation 2.0 RED and aims to support companies and organisations in the process of equitable inclusion of women of migrant profile in the workplace.
By joining the Worldplaces network, companies/organisations get access to tools and training regarding best practices for the inclusion of women with migrant backgrounds in the workplace.
The project was launched in December 2021 and is ending in November 2024.
