Educational information tool for organisations: Soft skills: a tool for developing personal skills

In the context of the European project “Worldplaces-Workplaces Working with Migrant Women” we created the Soft Skills Development Tool.

The development of soft skills, especially the most important ones for a working environment in Greece, has been an integral part of the Job Counselling programs offered by Generation 2.0 RED to people of immigrant profile with no previous work experience in Greece.

During the pilot phase of the Worldplaces project, we held soft skills seminars for migrant women focused on Time Management and Communication skills, which are considered to be important for the retention and success of employees in a workplace. By combining literature from our own research with the tools developed following the above-mentioned seminars, this specific tool was created in order to be used by companies/organisations that wish to train their staff.

If you would like your company or non-profit organisation to become a member of the Greek Worldplaces Network and benefit from these tools as well as from the Diversity Management training, you can contact [email protected] or 213 088 44 99.

This project is implemented by the employability service of Generation 2.0 for Rights, Equality & Diversity and aims to support companies and organisations in the process of equal inclusion of women of immigrant profile in the workplace.

*The project “Worldplaces-Workplaces Working with Migrant Women” is co-funded by the European Union’s Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund.
