Meet the new member of the Worldplaces Network, Archipelagos!

Archipelagos, welcome to the Network “Worldplaces-Workplaces Working with Migrant Women“.

Mrs. Martha Chalou, Social Worker at Archipelagos, answers our questions on the topics of Diversity and Inclusion in the workplace.

  • Why is it important for you and your organisation to promote inclusion in the workplace?

Promoting inclusion at work is crucial to creating an equitable environment where every individual can nurture and develop their potential. In this way they progress whereas their own lives and the lives of everyone around them are improved.

  • Do you, in your organisation, follow an inclusion practice?

As a CoESP we aim at the social and professional inclusion of people with psychosocial problems, migrants/refugees and other socially vulnerable people by creating jobs aimed at their treatment and economic self-sufficiency.

  • What motivated you to become a member of the Worldplaces Network?

To make more visible the fact that diversity is an opportunity for new ideas, approaches, ways of operating and creating.

This project is implemented by the Employability Service of Generation 2.0 for Rights, Equality & Diversity and aims to support companies and organisations in the process of inclusion of women of migrant background in the workplace.
