“Non-Discrimination and Inclusion Policies in the Workplace”: the 3rd training was held
On Friday July 3rd, we held the third training on “Non-discrimination and Inclusion Policies in the Workplace” to HR staff members. Companies like AB Vassilopoulos, Kaizen Gaming, Epignosis, and Aegeo Spas participated, as part part of the European project Worldplaces -Workplaces Working With Migrant Women.
Besides the knowledge gained, participants engaged deeply, sharing their concerns, opinions, and experiences. This collaborative environment fostered rich discussions and practical knowledge exchange, ensuring companies would leave with actionable insights to implement immediately in their workplace.
Some topics covered in our training include:
- How Greek and EU legislation covers discrimination in the workplace
- Types of discrimination subject to the workplace environment
- Labour rights and statuses of people with migrant background
- Diversity, Equity and Inclusion principles in the HR field
If you’d like your company or non-profit organization to participate in the 4th training that will take place in September 2024 exclusively for project members, join the Worldplaces Network today by sending an email to [email protected] and reserve your place in time.
Until the end of 2024, network member companies will have exclusive access to the trainings and tools based on the findings and good practices of the pilot phase of the project, combined with international good practices and literature on the topic of inclusion.
This project is implemented by the Employability Service of Generation 2.0 for Rights, Equality & Diversity and aims to support companies and organisations in the process of inclusion of women of migrant background in the workplace.
*The project “Worldplaces-Workplaces Working with Migrant Women” is co-funded by the European Union’s Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund.
