Diversity in the Workplace discusses with Teleperformance Greece

Diversity in the Workplace, an initiative of Generation 2.0 RED and activity of the “Equality Works” project implemented under the Active Citizens Fund program, brings together again employers and people of immigrant or refugee background, who are looking for work in various fields of employment in Greece, in an open dialogue about recruitment and job retention issues. Discussing with professionals from specific fields, interested parties had the opportunity to learn the specifics of each profession from the inside and thus can enrich their tools until they secure a future job position. Our guest at the second Discussion was the multicultural company Teleperformance Greece, which annually hires a large number of people of different national and ethnic backgrounds to man their world-class services.

Based on the above mentioned, we had the honor to welcome speaker Ms. Diana Fagoudi, the HR Communication & Engagement Executive at Teleperformance Greece. Ms. Fagoudi attended the first online speech of employers by Diversity in the Workplace and spoke about the Customer Service sector, through her extensive experience in hiring staff. Addressing participants who are interested in working in this field, she spoke about the profile of the ideal employee and about the different job positions one can have in the context of Customer Service. She referred extensively to the most vital parts of a job interview, as well as the personal skills that play a role in the final evaluation of a candidate. Finally, she answered participants’ questions, which revolved around the criteria for rejecting a job application and the adequacy of language skills for telephone support.

We would like to thank Teleperformance Greece and Ms. Diana Fagoudi for the fruitful discussion and the excellent guidance she offered to the participants interested in working in this field. Positive energy, immediacy and a professional approach were the key points presented in the Employers’ Speech, in the context of the Diversity in the Workplace activities.
