The non-profit organisation Generation 2.0 for Rights, Equality & Diversity, which is going to be called “G2RED” wants to inform the “person” to whom it addresses, that it processes personal data and maintains a record after their consent, in order to inform them about its actions and provide its services.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it
G2RED collects personal data after person’s consent, only for providing its services to them and for informing them about their actions.
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Media
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
Contact forms
If you want to contact us through our contact form on our website, you should fill all the mandatory fields (name, email, address). These data will be used only for the reason you contact us and in order to answer your question. They will not be used for any other reason and they will not be given to third parties.
If anyone subscribes to our newsletter, their email is visible only to the website administrator and will be used only in order to send the newsletter.
Cookies
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you have an account and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

We use analytics only for statistic reasons and under no circumstances can users / visitors be associated with any action or statistical result.
Who we share your data with
We don’t share any personal data from users. If anyone shares a comment, their profile picture and name will be visible to the public (as above said).
For the beneficiaries who receive our services (Legal counselling, Career counselling, Greek lessons – Preparation for naturalization interview), their personal data are kept by the supervisor of each department. Their personal data can probably be shared after their explicit consent with a competent private or public entity.
Personal data will not be used for any other reason and in any case without person’s consent.
How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
What rights you have over your data
The person has the right to request from G2RED a specific action about their personal data, such as correction, transmission, restriction or opposition to processing etc. In addition they may request the deletion of their personal data processed by G2RED.

Personal data may be used in the form of audiovisual material that the organization may use in public. For this action there should be the explicit consent of the people included in it.
How we protect your data
Our organization is in fully compliance with the GTPR regulation and the data you share with us are accessible only to the person responsible for each of our departments.
The personal data processing is conducted in a way that ensures its confidentiality. We take all appropriate organizational and technical measures for data security and protection against accidental or illicit destruction, accidental loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure or access and any other form of illicit processing.
We maintain personal data only for the period of time needed to achieve our goal, for which they were collected.
G2RED may amend or revise this statement, when is necessary, with the date of the last change in a visible place.
What data breach procedures we have in place
In case of a breach, G2RED will follow the requirements of applicable law and beyond the rest of the obligations, it will notify as soon as possible to the individual concerning the type of breach but also our action to protect and restore the security of the data.
What third parties we receive data from
We get references from other organizations in order to receive beneficiaries in our department and we always ask to have their consent. This process is done through a referral form completed by the other organizations that make a responsible statement through it that they have informed the people concerned about the collection, use and processing of personal data. We are committed to complying with current legislation as reflected in our privacy policy.
Industry regulatory disclosure requirements
To fully comply with the current regulation, to which we only commit, the regulatory transparency requirements have been foreseen to protect the rights of the persons as discussed above. Thus, in view of the purpose of processing, the consent given by individuals, and the seriousness of the violation of the freedoms of the persons, our organizational structure is not limited to securing their basic and recognized legal rights but extends to measures, reviewing them where necessary to address any risks, so that any processing is completed in accordance with this regulation and with the proper cooperation of the aid control bodies reinforcing the confidence of persons.
