Epignosis company, a Network member of the Worldplaces project

We welcome Epignosis, a Technology company specialising in eLearning solutions, as one of the members of the “Worldplaces-Workplaces Working with Migrant Women” Network.

Epignosis actively strengthens and promotes cultural diversity at work in the context of Corporate Social Responsibility.

The company follows inclusive practices, such as equitable recruitment processes and it supports its employees through various diversity and inclusion trainings, while offering flexible hours and work from home.

Mrs. Ioanna Proestaki Atkinson, Senior People Operations Specialist, who will be representing Epignosis in the Worldplaces Network, specifically mentioned that the technology sector faces particular challenges, as “not everyone is given the same means and opportunities to familiarise themselves with new technologies” and that is what prompted her to represent the company in the WorldPlaces Network, which falls under the project Worldplaces – Workplaces Working with Migrant Women*.

The project aims to support companies and organisations in offering equal opportunities to women of migrant background. During the project and, until its completion, Diversity in the Workplace will utilise findings and practices from the project’s pilot phase, which was implemented by the organisation’s Career Counselling Service, in combination with corporate best practices, for the creation of tools and trainings, to which member companies will have exclusive access.

We would like to thank Epignosis and Mrs. Ioanna Proestaki Atkinson for participating in the project!
